Dear couples, let me lovingly advise you: marriage was never designed to be run by emotions, strength, or love alone. Two people can support each other, but life has a way of testing every union through pressure, misunderstanding, finances, and seasons of weakness. This is why God must never be optional in your marriage. Invite Him into your conversations, your decisions, your finances, your intimacy, and even your disagreements. Pray together consistently, not only when trouble comes. Study God’s Word together and allow it to shape how you speak, forgive, and serve one another. When God becomes the third strand, your marriage gains stability, direction, and protection. Storms will come, but they will not destroy you. A God-centered marriage may not be perfect, but it will be resilient, peaceful, and deeply rooted in purpose.
